Department of education is running B.Ed. and M.A. Education program in Education.

The Institute offers an outstanding learning environment for students by providing state of the art Infrastructure, facilities, course curriculum and teaching methodology. All these are designed, in view of its commitment to achieve excellence in the field of Education by providing excellent trained teachers.

The department of education is based on the objectives preset by NCTE (National Council for Teacher Education) for teaching aspirants. Three main elements included in the curriculum of B.Ed – Theory, practicum & internship; and at least 25% of the programme is made on the school based activities and internship. Each programme of the B.Ed. curriculum has been integrated with ICT, gender & disability, yoga education and Inclusive Education. The department has well equipped Lecture Rooms, Psychological Laboratories, library with journal and encyclopedia, co-curricular activities hall, Girls common room, all pedagogical subjects Laboratories, Indoor & outdoor games facilities, Music room computer Laboratories, multi-Purpose Auditorium and Language Laboratory with well qualified teacher Educators. We are committed to develop the abilities, skills and personality of a pupil Teachers. Most of the objectives directly focus on enhancing the abilities of motivation, aptitude, attitude, creativity, empathy, high order thinking abilities, self-assessment, practical knowledge, Convergent and divergent thinking, communication using pedagogical approaches.

Career and employment Opportunities
Field of teaching in secondary schools is an evergreen profession. Candidates holding B.Ed degree can find many teaching jobs in India. After completing B.Ed they can apply in different types of schools such as state Government schools, centeral Government schools, and private schools. These schools are affiliated by any of the following boards:

  1. State Board of Education.
  2. CBSE (Central Board of Secondary school)
  3. ICSE (Indian Certificate of Secondary Education)
