Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.)

B.Ed. is a 4-semester course spread over 2 years duration. It is based on the curriculum framed by NCTE (National Council for Teacher Education). Students pursuing this course will be able to be eligible to give Secondary teacher eligibility tests such as CTET (Central Teacher Eligibility Test) and STET (State level Teacher Eligibility Test) and teach in secondary and higher secondary schools thereafter. Students after the completion of B.Ed. Course will have a theoretical and practical understanding of Teaching school subjects, Child Psychology, Educational development in contemporary India, Language development of child, Curriculum, Discipline, Assessment process, Teaching and Learning Process, Environmental Education, Inclusive Education and EPC (Enhancing Professional Capacities). Besides these, B.Ed. Students actively participate in field teaching and perform various Educational and Social activities included in the curriculum to be done by the B.Ed. students which help them imbibing educational and social perspective in a broader way.

B.Ed. (bachelor of Education) opens the door for the aspirants of becoming teachers. It has vast career opportunity as school is one of the most important agencies which enable a person to inculcate all the abilities to be survived as a social member in a society.
